Immersing myself in the serene ambiance of De Hofjes Hotel, I was welcomed with a refreshing drink, setting the tone for a truly relaxing stay. The lakeside location in Wormer offered a peaceful retreat, with stunning views that set the stage for a delightful evening dinner on the terrace. The room, though cozy, was well-equipped with modern amenities, including an electric kettle, ensuring a comfortable stay. The 2-in-1 shower-and-toilet combination was surprisingly efficient, maximizing space in the room.The staff's warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to my experience, making me feel truly at home. The continental breakfast served at the restaurant was a delightful spread, catering to all tastes. While the bathroom could have been a tad more spacious, it provided all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The proximity to Zaanse Schans and Wormerveer, with convenient rail links to Amsterdam, made exploring the Dutch countryside a breeze.The hotel also offers meeting facilities and a children's playground, catering to a diverse range of guests. For those looking to unwind, the option to play pool adds an element of fun to the stay.
